Today I got this beautiful outdoor kitchen for my 40th anniversary from my girl Esmeralde and a couple of friends. Of course it had to be tested immediately according to Oscar and Marc, although it was soooo cold…Oscars girl Gladys had prepared a delicious meat fest ! I love it !

I have rebuilt these LEGO technic models that I got for my 10th anniversary (almost 30 yrs ago) for my son Oliver who is 6 yrs rightnow after rediscovering them on the attic of my house. It was fun to play with it again after about 30 years or so, hehehe

Up for sale is my friend Kai’s (Kai’s Collection) much enjoyed baywindow Westfalia hardtop bus. he bought this original California bus a few months ago in North California, and has driven it everywhere since. He has put over 2000 miles (3200 kilometers) on it with a lot of fun!

As most people agree, ‘71 is the best year for baywindow busses, because it’s the last year with the upright motor as we all know it, and the first year that came with disc brakes up front. Best of both worlds!

We decided to sell our cargobike and within notime I sold it to a guy named Fausto, from Amsterdam. He told me he’d rented a ‘Boedelbak’ trailer. Then at a sudden this VW T2B westfalia drove in front of my house. Hahaha. The cargobike is back where it came from: Amsterdam.

A lot of ballooning activity tonight near Amus4rt. This one flew just over my house. So I went after it to see it land.

When my son oliver turned 1 (5 years ago) he got this beautiful yellow and red hotrod stroller from my friend Marc. Last friday his son Maurits turned 1. Last week Oskar and I did our own overhaulin’ show in my garage and turned the yellow thing into a lowered and narrowed black and red hotrod. See here the result:

I’m not going to tell you the whole story about my new wheels, but here they are:
Freshly detailed bij John (Nederbugs). Today I went to the VA-Slamshop and Le-ohn and I mounted the 5.5J earlies on my disc brakes in the front and the deep 6’s on drums in the rear. Really looks awesome ! Was a hell of a job to find the right spacing to create enough clearance for the adjustable spingplates in the rear. Here are some pics I made at home after driving about 50 miles on them.
